All the ingredients in this recipe are excellent for your skin, and more importantly: your body in general (your skin IS your body, so it's no surprise that eating a ton of healthy foods that are good for your bod is a huge part of having naturally clearer skin). Turmeric is also a powerful anti-cancer food and it's absorbability goes up enormously when you consume it with black pepper, like we do here. P.S. If you have some cantaloupe, that would be a terrific addition.
1/2 cup chopped carrot
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
2 frozen bananas
2 cups almond milk or water
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Sweetener of your choosing, if desired
Blend everything together until smooth and orange. Adjust according to taste and enjoy!
